The campground looked ok when we arrived, and they said they had Wifi. Well, the wifi didn't work and all the owner could do was get very young kid who didn't know how to do anything but play games on the computer. Also, when asked about passport (we found it in passport book) the owner complained about not being able to make any money. It rained and the black mud was everywhere. We will not camp here again and would send travelers on to Mitchell to either of the passport parks. They are cheaper and things work.
Nice folks, everything worked, the gas next door is the cheapest anywhere around and you are located half way between Cody and Yellowstone. This would definitely be on our list of stops again when in the area. This park is the closest commercial park to Yellowstone.
It doesn't take much to make me happy, wifi is a must and I hate parks that advertise it and then locate you so far from the tower that it doesn't work. If you are a Camp Club member go to the Railroad RV Park in downtown, the price is the same and the wifi works all over. I wish I had know this before I stayed here.
The couple at check in were the only good thing this park has going for it. Wi-Fi did not work at all. Thank God it didn't rain the mud would have been unbearable. Roads were very rough. This is the worst KOA I have stayed in since going on the road 10 years ago. Next time I will forgo convenience for travel and stay in Tallahassee and drive to Monticello.
Rustic park with several long term trailers. The owner more than made up for the appearance of the park. Very friendly and very helpful. Electric, water and sewer were very accessible and the Wi-Fi had a good signal. We stayed here 3 nights. It was quiet and only a couple of miles from the interstate.
The park is relatively new and very nice with pavement and concrete pads. The folks were very friendly and very accommodating. We decided to stay an extra day and there were no problems. The only negative was the cable did not work. They came out and checked it with a little TV and got a picture. However, my cable worked the day before we got there at another campground and it worked the day after we left at the next campground. I have to assume they have a problem. We watched local TV and made due with that!
